Health and Safety Information

Safety is our utmost priority and the IGCS team is working closely with our professional conference organizer, The Javits Center, and the New York government as rules and regulations are released or modified for safe ways to gather. IGCS plans to follow local ordinances. As information frequently changes, we will continue to update this page as new guidance is released.

Travel from Outside the US
Review the country-specific COVID-19 requirements provided by the U.S. Department of State. Read additional information here.

Vaccination Status
Javits Center is not currently requiring proof of vaccination status to attend indoor events.

COVID-19 Testing
Testing for COVID-19 will not be available at the Javits Center. Testing locations are plentiful within walking distance to both contracted hotels and the Javits Center. Read more about COVID-19 testing and testing locations in NYC.

Masks
IGCS recommends attendees wear high-quality, medical-grade masks in indoor public settings. IGCS will not require masks inside Javits Center unless required under New York or New York City guidelines, or unless CDC community levels are high. CDC community levels are available online. Masks will not be provided by IGCS and attendees are encouraged to bring their own.

Individual Accountability
IGCS is committed to maintaining the health and safety of all attendees, vendors, and Javits employees. IGCS will continue to monitor the latest guidelines and industry best practices, as well as monitoring local conditions, risk factors, and regulations. As information frequently changes, we will continue to update this page as new guidance is released.

By attending IGCS in person, you are confirming that you:

  1. Are not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 identified by the CDC at cdc.gov.
  2. Are not under any self-quarantine orders
  3. Acknowledge and will abide by applicable regulations and health & safety regulations

To preserve a safe environment, should any delegate fail to comply with such protocols, IGCS may take immediate steps (including, but not limited to) denial of entrance to the Meeting or removal from the Meeting. Any delegate who is denied access or removed from the Meeting, for this reason, will not be eligible for a refund of any registration fees paid and will be granted virtual access to the meeting.
